Formatting my C: drive, will Linux remain?

I have one hard drive divided into 2 partitions, one with Windows XP and the other with Linux Red Hat 7.3. Recently my Windows partition went to crap, I can't even boot into in safe mode, but Linux works fine. I used Partition Magic to partion the drive, and I'm using BootMagic as my O.S. choice. If I format my windows partition, reload windows then BootMagic, will my Linux partition remain? Then I can just re-add Linux to my BootMagic options? Thanks.

Yeah, there should be no problems with that. You will definitely not wipe the Linux partition if you format your XP partition. Also, unless you specifically don't order fdisk to wipe your MBR (by doing fdisk /mbr) you *might* even be able to keep the bootmagic on, and just add the winxp entry to it after the install. I am not familiar with bootmagic but this would be possible with GRUB or LILO so it should be possible with bootmagic too.
