Firefox Fonts Problem

Hi,

I have installed ttf fonts and things look fine on the html pages displayed in Firefox, but the fonts used by Firefox in the tool bar at the top of the screen or in any of the firefox configuration menus looks TERRIBLE. It looks to not be anti alias fonts and some of them seem too small, however it may all work if it was smoother.

I have searched for a sollution but all I find are suggestions to get the fonts on the html pages looking better. I've already done that and now want to get Firefox looking better!

Anyone has any success with this?

PS: I have already set DeviceSize in xorg.conf to the dimensions of my monitor but there is no difference.

Go to Edit > Preferences in Firefox and change your fonts for Firefox there.

Editing the Preferences won't change the menu fonts. To change those, you need to go to the Mozilla website, click on the Support tab, click on the link 'more end-user documentation', scroll down to the bottom of the list, and checkout two links: 'setting hidden preferences' and 'hidden mozilla prefs'. Pay special attention to creating/editing userCHROME.css and userCONTENT.css to make changes to menu fonts.
