Extracting, Obfuscating Audio Channel

I have a stereo audio mp3 file with two channels. I would like to extract one audio channel.

After I have extracted the audio channel i would like to obfuscate the voice of the person. How can I do this?

ffmpeg -i

Code:
Input #0, mp3, from 'xxx.mp3':
  Metadata:
    genre : Speech
    date : 2015-09-12 22:58
  Duration: 00:17:46.51, start: 0.000000, bitrate: 64 kb/s
    Stream #0.0: Audio: mp3, 16000 Hz, stereo, s16, 64 kb/s
At least one output file must be specified

Audacity. Great sound editor. MorphVOX should handle your other issue.
