exit status 127

hi,

m trying to debug a binary on my board via a remote gdbserver..
i initiate the process by saying

gdbserver localhost:<port number> <binary file name>

and the board listens to the specified port,

however, as soon as i start the gdb on my host machine, the board terminates the connection and the child process exits with status 127...can someone tell me the significance of this exit status number urgently..

thank you..
ashlesha.

Code 127 indicates a 'command not found error'. If you developed the binary yourself or have access to the source code you should check it for typos or minor syntax errors.

Best of luck
