Dual Booting using CD?

Hi,

I just got a new laptop and would like to dual boot Mandrake 9.2 along with Windows 2000 (already installed). I'd like to install Linux on a second partition while keeping the MBR intact with the Win 2K boot loader. I'm hoping to use a bootable CD to allow me to boot off the second partition (where Linux is installed). Can anyone provide any tips on how to do this? Can one of the Linux-on-CD distributions help me out? I'd normally try and do this with a bootable floppy but my laptop only has a CD drive.

Thanks!

Mark

I hadn't seen that Boot part tool before, I might give it a go. I was hoping to not mess around with the Windows partition at all, that's why I liked the idea of a bootable CD.

As far as windows goes your just copying a file and editing the boot.ini file. Not a whole lot of messing to do.

I'm still trying to think of an easy wasy to create a bootable CD.
