I might be in the market for a smart watch if they can make on that runs on solar power and is as tough as my G-Shock (I'm no Bear Grills, I just tend to be clumsy).
I do like the idea of notifications on my watch so I don't have to take my phone out of my pocket when it's raining, or whatever. Casio do make a watch with Bluetooth notifications but it's not solar and I don't like the idea of having to send it back to Casio to have the battery changed every two years.
I know one person who has an Android watch and he loves it to death. He uses it for searches and texts constantly. He's a sysadmin and, from what I gather, he's particular fond of the ability to read texts he gets from his team without taking his phone out of his pocket.
