Do you report bugs you encunter?

I wanted to ask this question long time ago,but somehow I didn't.Few days ago I downloaded and tried a new distro, few clicks and there it was-a bug in image wiever. Also I have found many bugs in many distros, desktop environments, apps.
So,do you do it,report a bug,and how many did you encountered?
And remember,if you don't report it may not be fixed.

I report bugs in a program to the appropriate project. I have never reported bugs to a distribution.

I have found bugs in distributions which belong to the distribution rather than an individual project. I never reported those distribution bugs to anybody. When I find a bug in the distribution I am currently using I generally fix the bug myself but don't bother to report it. If I am trying to install a new distribution to try it out I have small patience with bugs. If I hit a critical and persistent bug the first time I try a distribution I generally just move on to the next distribution on my list. This situation happens with about a quarter of the distributions that I have tried in the last year.

Once I tried out gFTP. I thought gFTP was great but the documentation was almost non-existent. I decided to write some user documentation for gFTP and so I tried every possible feature and configuration setting in gFTP in order to write a description of how everything worked. Along the way I encountered several bugs in gFTP and I sent bug reports in to Brian Masney along with the user documentation I wrote.

How many do I encounter?

I think that I reported about 15 bugs to gFTP. Otherwise, I have reported about 6 bugs to a variety of projects. The total would be higher but usually when I research a bug I find that somebody else has already reported it.

I understand this because I had that problem too with a lot of distros(the bugs simply are not fixed and the new distros are being released with the same bugs) without a diference if it was in app or whatever, but what happens is that people just move on to the new distro and dont report bugs or they don't mind.I know that developers are doing hard work so we should help them with reporting this bugs,if we want more newcomers to the Linux world, stable distros etc.

No, I never report bugs because usually when I do have a problem or discover a bug, someone else has already reported it. I don't think it helps to report the same problem unless there is something drastically different versus the reported bug.
