Hi, I have 2 Linux distros on a SATA disk and temporarely Windows on and ATA disk.
/dev/sdb1 --> /boot (common)
/dev/sdb2 --> Linux_distro 1
/dev/sdb3 --> Linux_distro 2
/dev/hdb1 --> C:\ (boot.ini NTDETECT.COM etc.. and storage)
/dev/hdb2 --> E:\ (Windows)
BIOS is configured to boot /dev/sdb first (SATA with Linux).
If I change BIOS to boot /dev/hdb first only Windows boot but no lilo of course.
lilo.conf :
Code:
boot = /dev/sdb
lba32
prompt
timeout = 40
...
Linux_distro_1 etc..
...
Linux_distro_2 etc..
...(finally for windows)
other = /dev/hdb1
label = Windows_XP
table = /dev/hdb
I tried other=/dev/hdb2 also but no luck.
I'm kinda stuck here, does anyone know how to deal with this without changing the boot order from BIOS if that is possible ?
