cygwin Problem


I installed cygwin on windows and able to start x server from startx command. when I xporting x clients from other linux server's (export DISPLAY=192.168.41.174:0.0) it is not working.

You have to do some stuff with "xauth" or something like that so that your X server will let that computer access it. (Imagine random people on the Internet being able to control your X server.)

A better way to do this would be to not set DISPLAY or anything like that at all and use SSH's X forwarding: "ssh -Y user@host"

If my windows workstation is 192.168.41.174 and x clinet server is 192.168.40.200(test)

1)when I try to connect it say's connection refuse what do I do ?

eg:-

[root@test ~]# ssh -Y root@10.172.41.174
ssh: connect to host 10.172.41.174 port 22: Connection refused
