Posting your crontab entry and the script/command your trying to run might help a little..

Sorry...

the name of the script is interlab and it's in /home/hospub

#!/bin/bash
/home/hospub/INTER 2>&1 /dev/null

and the crontab entry for the user hospub:

* * * * * /home/hospub/interlab

So let me get this right.. you have a scripted called INTER in /home/hospub that contains this code:

Code:
#!/bin/bash
/home/hospub/INTER  2>&1 /dev/null
So what's the point of this script? You just want it to continually run? What is this script suppose to do?

So why are you having cron contiually run this script? What does this script actually do and why don't you make the script itself loop after starting it.. cron is not intended to continually make a script run, but to schedule commands and scripts at incremental times..
