Creating Shortcuts and such...

Hey everyone!!
I recently installed xchat but I dont see it in the K Menu/Panel...
And I have absolutely no clue on how to get it up and running because I'm a fairly
new user, And secondly because I dont know any path to where it is located.
If anyone could help me out I'd very much appreciate it!
Thanks,
Mike

if you type

whereis xchat

you will get the route where the binary is located. As mentioned above you should try to type xchat which will get your program open You can create a Launcher in your Graphical Environment that executes "xchat" and you will get the program everytime you click on it.

Good luck
