Create gift certificate on my linux box

Hi all.

I'd like to create a gift certificate on my linux box, and export it to PDF so that it can be printed from a MS windows box. Are there any free available templates for openoffice or such I can use to create the gift certificate? Or are there better ways of doing this?

I'm not sure what you mean by a template in this case---do you mean a blank design for a gift certificate (that you just fill in)?

Try a Google search using something like "OpenOffice templates" Since OOo will read MSOffice files, you may be able to use a template built for MSWord.
