copying linux install from reiserfs to ext3
I recently installed KANOTIX to my computer on a reiserfs partition because it was supposedly better than ext2/3. Now I've discovered that there are no tools to mount reiserfs on windows, so I switched to ext3. I used tar to copy everything to another partition, reformatted hda2 (my linux partition) to ext3, then copied everything back. I booted (from grub installed on hda1) and it wouldn't boot up. I got it booting by changing /etc/fstab, but it still gives me weird errors. Is there a way to fix this, and is it necessary?
