Post Confirming Debian Version

Hi

I ran apt-get dist-upgrade on my box, and it only upgraded one package (libstdc++) ...

I run it again, and it says there are 0 new packages to be upgraded (this is from the ftp.uk.debian.org mirror)

Is there any way of confirming that my box is now up to date with 3.0r1? (it was 3.0r0, before i did an apt-get dist-upgrade)

i could look at /etc/issue, but not sure if it would have been changed to reflect the new version? after all, only one package was updated.....

Cheers

Duncan

You have to add some things to your /etc/apt/sources.list file if you want to upgrade to sarge.
Add this:
deb http://ftp.debian.org dists/sarge/main/binary-i386/
to the sources.list file, run apt-get update and then apt-get dist-upgrade.
