What is an alive IP? Are you wanting to scan your LAN for occupied IP addresses? You can use nmap.

P.S.
It would be easier to read your message if you used the spell checker. Thanks.

You could just ping all the machines between 1 - > 255

Alive IP: The ips to which we can ping our clients to:

for example

i have 5 clients,, i just want to see a list of ip's from 10.0.0.1 to 10.0.0.5 ,,(my client's IP) ,, i can ping them from my server or not,,

I guess the scenario will be somewhat like this:

10.0.0.1 alive
10.0.0.2 alive
10.0.0.3 not alive

which means i can ping client 1 and 2 but cant ping client3 ,,

i hope this time its not confusing,,
P.S.
