My litter company now wants to buy some server for cloud computing, which must be stable and high performance. And perhaps we will sell the products all over the world, so the technical support(or customer service) is very important. I know Dell and HP are the best two, and would you please give any suggestion about other supplier?
I've had pretty good experiences with Dell service and support (for Poweredge 2950s and EMC AX4-5 SANs, FWIW). I've not worked with HP support at all. I've had mixed (some exceptional, some questionable) experiences with IBM support, though that has been on the software side.
Tangential comment: consider looking at a hosted cloud solution as well. You might - depending on your specific needs - get a lot more bang for your buck. Both Rackspace and Amazon EC2 are respectable, IMO.
At first, when we had an account with only 50 or so Poweredges, they kind of blew us off and service sucked. But once we got a little bigger, and had upwards of 600 Servers, we could call in and get immediate support and push our way around and get better service/deals and more attention.
So, from my perspective, it is a good company to deal with if you are going to buy lots of stuff off of them, otherwise, expect to be treated dismissively.

That's a good point (which certainly applies to many companies, including Dell). We're also a large Dell customer, so take that context into consideration when reading my feedback on them.

I've had a lot of experience with IBM support, both hardware and software, and I concur with your statement on their software support... their Websphere support in particular seems spotty at best.
However, I'd say in the case of hardware that they're the gold standard. I can't tell you how many times we've received a phone call from an IBM rep to schedule the replacement of a failed part before we ever noticed there was any issue whatsoever.
We are a beginning cloud-computer company, and the price is always the most important point. With your kindly suggestions and investigation by myself, I decide to buy Dell products. It's not only cheap, but also has good reputation and customer service.
