circular reference (.Trash)

Okay, so I will admit, I am a newbie, but I think this thread fits better here than in the newbie section. I recently obtained a USB flash drive and did not know that I shouldn't just hit delete in nautilus. Well, that created a .Trash folder on my drive. (I use mandrake btw) So I stupidly tried to delete .Trash, which created a circular reference. If you open it, inside is ".Trash", when you open it, there's a .Trash and so on. Rmdir won't remove it. How do I get rid of it?

rm -rf?

maybe try pressing ctrl-alt-f* or so, and log in there and try to delete it there.
