I use RH 7.3 system. how to change the IP address and restart the related deamon? thx.

Edit /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-ethX

where X is the number of the interface. Then to restart networking type:

/etc/init.d/networking restart

and read a new users guide.
