cant change screen reloution
hey everyone,
i realize these forums get tons of posts on resolution issues, so first id like to clarify that im not one of those people who wants you to hhelp me but not help myself. ive looked all around, this forum as well as across the internet, trying to set my resolution to 1024x768. it is currently at 800x600. i am running redhat 9, with an nvidia geforce2 videocard. i have the nvidia drivers installed for this card, i assume they are installed correctly because i didnt get any flags during compilation and i have an nvidia splash screen that displays before logon. anyways first i tried the easy way, going into the kde settings and just clicking the little dialoge box. it says please restartx for changes to take place, i do so, and its still at 800x600, even tho the kde display settings says im at 1024x768. next i tried to edit my xf86config. this is what i have:

-maybe my problem is extremely obvious and im just overlooking it, but regardless i need help. thanks in advance!
