On my home box, I am using Evolution to collect email from my ISP and spamassassin to flag emails as spam. Then I created a filter in Evolution to send the spam to a folder where I can check to make sure things are ok. That can be changed to other things like delete or stop processing.....
Check this site
here
for a config tool used to set up the
local.cf . For the system wide setup I am using, that is in
/etc/mail/spamassassin/ but if you want to do it individually, it's in your home directory. For example:
/home/Fred/.spamassassin/user_prefs
In Evolution,
Create a folder called Spam
Go to
Tools and create a new filter and set it up like this...
If
Code:
Pipe Message to Shell Commmand /bin/spamassassin -P -e does not return 0
then
Code:
Move to Folder "Spam" in "Local Folders"
Set Status Read
