Question Can I delete sevice pack 2 with linux


I need to know if I can Use pc linux to delete service pack2? I downloaded sp2 after restart the computer is locked in a reboot loop I can get into the files with pc linux but it will not let me execute the uninstall file to remove sp2 any help will be usefull.

What SP2 are you taking about? Windows XP? SLES?

Then you should reboot with your Windows CD and do a "Repair". That will put Windows back to what it was after installing it (i.e. no SP or SP1). This is system-wise; it will not uninstall your programs or wipe your data.

Please do a backup from within Linux of your data. I cannot guarantee that the procedure will work, as I don't know what your problem is. It worked for me, though.
