Unhappy Canīt install red hat 8.0


Hi!! Iīm new (very new) at linux. This is the first time i try to install linux. Iīm using a Pentium III 1 GHZ, 384 MB RAM, 30 GB HD. I get into the installation program, do everything as shown in a manual and when it installin packages i get this error saying that a file called zlib-1.1.4-4.i386 is not found or damaged. Next to it a screen come up saying that an exceptional situation has happened and it reebot my computer.

Please HELP ME!!!!

It looks the installation cd is broken... To make sure, try to install from it on another machine, if you can. If it is broken, you need to replace it: give it back to the show you bought it from or download and ISO and burn it (if you have a cd recorder).

Thumbs up That was the problem :D!!

I replaced my CDROM and it worked!!

The problem was not de Disc but the CDROM
