Hi,

I have a home LAN. My server is Win2000 Server and has a HP LaserJet6L printer attached to LPT1. This printer is shared and Everyone has print permissions. The LAN is set up as a workgroup and not a domain. I can successfully print to this server from my WinXP Pro workstation.

I have another workstation which is Red Hat Linux 7.2 and I would like to print documents to the win2000 print server as I do from my WinXP workstation. I have added the printer using printconf-gui and when I do a test print, nothing happens.

printconf-gui setup follows:
Queuetype = Windows SMB Share
Share: \\SERVER1\HPLaser
Driver: lj5gray
Host IP: (blank cos I have added SERVER1 to my /etc/hosts file)

Any ideas?
