First, I assume you actually are referring to CD-RW media, not CD-R media. In terms of blanking out a previously recorded CD, check out the man pages for cdrecord, or just run the following to get a list of all the options

I`ll make it clear.
I have to write more than once in a CD-R [ multi session I mean]
I fill first 100 MB with some files and leave the CD session open.
Then I want to write some more files in the free space [remaing 500 MB or so].
But now I dont want the 100 MB files to get included in this session.
The files should not get displayed when I use the CD later
This is possible in windows [Nero Burning Rom] , but I want a way out in linux as I was not always a windows fan.
