Burning CD's over the Internet with or without ISO image


At least once a day, I check out a couple of sites carrying news about computing (especially Linux systems).

Today, I ran across a interesting article (title is the subject of this thread). I thought that new and experienced command line users might be interested. It's an interesting read.

Hi,

Link is not valid (double http:/ part). (fixed by OP)

BTW: You really do need a reasonably fast, reliable internet connection and to first "play" with the cdrecord options to pull this off.

Oops! My bad. I've repaired the broken link.

Yes, a fast internet connection is required. But, since connection speeds vary widely around the world, I thought it might still be useful to someone somewhere.
