booting to linux

Right now, if I want to boot to linux when i start my computer up I use a boot disk. When I want to boot to Windows I take it out. Is there a different way to do this? It takes like 3 minutes to load up linux off the boot disk

"Is there a different way to do this?"

Yes. You can set up your bootloader on the Master Boot Record. The MBR is far faster than a floppy. You are probably using either grub or lilo for a bootloader. Here are tutorials for grub and lilo:

Which distro are you using? a lot of them have tools that can automate this process otherwise you'll have to do this by hand.
