bootable USB with windows 7 not showing up but fedora does

I'm running fedora 27 and created 2 bootable USB drives using fedora media writer and unetbootin.
one with fedora 24 gets detected when I select USB hard drive from bootloader options but windows 7 is never detected and I get redirected to the grub menu with originally installed fedora 27 options.

Unetbootin is not designed to create bootable windows flash drives which is stated on their home page. It isn't really clear that you used unetbootin to try to create the windows bootable usb. YOu need some othersoftware or method to do this. You can simply mount the windows iso and copy the windows folders/files to the usb drive and boot it from grub installed on Fedora by chainloading it.
