bash questions

Hi,

I've a few questions about the Bash:

1 - how it's possible to select a line using the keyboard, instead of hovering the line with the mouse?

3 - How it's possible to run bash commands that don't have shortcuts? For example, i want to to run the command copy-backward-word (), but i don't have any shortcut key defined.

3 - What is the bash command to print the Operating System and kernel version?

Thanks,
Pedro

AFAIK not in a terminal w/o running something like "screen". In screen (default keys) it's "CTRL+A+[" to access, then "enter;up/down;enter" to select and "CTRL+A+]" to paste.

Not "shortcuts" but key sequence bindings (bind -P). Try "bind '"\C-xm": copy-backward-word'" or so or "help bind".
