Bad EPI Value

Hey guys,

I have a server the backups up some production data over night and for the past week it has locked up several nights leaving me no option but to reboot. I was able to get the few lines below from the console from kernel output. Can anyone give me some idea as to what this means. I have done some research and the colsest I have found is hardware issue. Just look for some more information on this. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

<0217e831> sys_write+0x51/0x80
Code: Bad EIP Value

The line above is all am able to get.

Could me a hardware issue...also in some cases it could be because of panic in the panic code of kernel generally reffered as recursive panic. Setup netdump or diskdump which could help more.
