axftp from DamnSLinux--can I use this for Xandros?

axftp from DamnSLinux--can I use this for Xandros?
I love DSL, but I finally had to move to Xandros due to CD burning issues I had. DSL is sweet and I will use it in the future--it was the first distro that was 95% on for me and it was a joy to work with.

So I want to use AXftp as my ftp client in Xandros. It is such a simple to use ftp client. How do I download it from the DSL mini-CD? Any tips on using it? And does anyone know it's dependencies?
And if I can't pull it from the DSL cd, does anyone know where I can find a copy that I can install to Xandros?

PS: tried to use gftp, but it just isn't working. I had to apt-get it since I there wasn't a standalone ftp gui'd client with Xandros(I tried to usethe Konqueror file manager, but that didn't work).

Thanks...
