automatically go to links from page and diff

I would like to (semi) automatically periodically download and run diff on several selected web site pages that are linked to a main page.

Q. Is there an app or two already available that would help me achieve this ?

These are price list pages that have a fairly slow rate and amount of change.

My manual test of diff on these pages showed that <select all> <copy> <paste> to a text file , save, run diff against the last saved file might work good for me as far as being able to easily recognise the output of diff.

Writing my own script is not completely out of the question but is currently still a lot above my head and would as such take me forever

Any ideas would be appreciated

Thanks,

You could use a recursive wget to download the files then just use your normal recursive diff to compare them.

The thread starter should have kept the thread ongoing in this original thread, but whatever.. !!
