Smile Apache2 help!

well people i've been of to a good start today with apache mysql and php..... i mean after a couple of php nuke theme errors a couple deleted mysql databases i managed to get it the site up and running........ oh by that way... im dedicating this site to linux and me! ill have linux distributions there.. news, etc...you know tha work...

i've set up the download just right.... although i have somefiles some to many files and i would like apache to let you browse though the files instead of linking them to a page.... just like if it was a ftp browser but using apache... i've done it before but that was in apace 1.X so... idont know how apache2 works...

and also does anyone here know anything about PHPNUKE!! i would really appreciate it if you could help me out with that also... thank you so much!

Patience is a virtue, really, it is.

In your httpd.conf file you'll need to specify in the Directory directive portion, make it so you have Indexes listed in there... will look something like this:

Code:
 <Directory /usr/local/httpd/htdocs>
Options Indexes FollowSymLinks
</Directory>
You can find the documentation here: http://httpd.apache.org/docs-2.0/mod...html#directory

Not too hard to find.. really, it wasn't..

Also, I don't know anything about phpnuke, I'm sure if you actually posted what you need help with, someone can help out.
