I just found something very simple in frontpage that has made my job much better and thought I might share it. This is nothing big but is not documented or used very much.
I have many users that use fronpage and want to publish to my apache servers and I have refused to install the mod for frontpage as I think it hurts my server securtity, but in looking around I found if you just download your site via ftp to your harddrive and then open it up in frontpage you can do a file publish web and instead of publishing to:
http://www.domain.com
set it to publish to:
ftp://www.domain.com
And it will go though the standard ftp protocol and work with any standard ftp server.
Also something else that has driven many frontpage users mad is frontpage will not keep track of the case when working with pictures so the pictures will not show up correctly but if you just go into frontpage and click on tools then page options then the compatibily tab there is options to set the website up for an apache server and also to disable useing things like asp.
I just thought I would post this to help any other apache administrators like me that were frustrated by this.
