Anyway to access LVM partitions from windows??

I have setup a dual boot between Windozz XP and OpenSUSE 11.0. I have installed OpenSUSE in an LVM partition setup. I would like to access these LVM partitions from Windows.... is it possible??

Haven't done it but I'm wondering if you installed Cygwin in your Windows partition and loaded LVM in Cygwin if you couldn't do a vgimport to mount the LVs and make the usable that way.

It is one of the LVM commands. From its man page:

vgimport allows you to make a Volume Group that was previously exported using vgexport(8) known to the system again, perhaps after moving its Physical Volumes from a different machine.

Try running "man lvm" on your Linux to get the over view man page for LVM. At the bottom of that page it will list all the other commands that are part of LVM. You can do a "man" on each of those commands to get more details about each.
