Another Radeon M6 problem!

Hy folks,

i am having problems enabling DRI on my laptop. the graphic card is Ati Radeon Mobility (M6). i am using kernel 2.6.3 also i installed Mesa 0.6 . glxinfo shows that DRI is disabled. My driver in the XF86Config is radeon, so that seems ok.
I found sites, but they are with drivers for the 2.4.x kernel! sucky, huh?!

any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks a lot. Shemeta

Make sure that you compiled in the radeon support in the kernal and that it is enabled in the xf86config. I use a radeon modility 7500...almost the same thing. If you need more help pm me.

Hi, thanks for the reply,

i have the Radeon compiled in my kernel but as a module. when i run modprobe radeon, it loads the module. also i load the intel-agp module too.
so i edit my settings, that this files load automatically on startup.

what should i do from now on?

From the XFree86 log file, it says that Option "DRI" is not used. i also get a message :
Code:
