About the font.


Where shall I download some new fonts?

In addition,after I have downloaded them,where shall I put them in!?

Just Google for free fonts.Download/unpack whatever fonts you want.If using KDE right click on the font and select install.Not sure about what you would do with others such as Gnome as I havent used them.As a Slackware user I copy fonts into /usr/share/fonts.You could tell us what distro you are using as installation of fonts will vary according to distro and Desktop Environment/Window manager.But if you are using KDE the instructions I have given will work.Cheers :-)

As a general suggestion, I'd recommend installing liberation-fonts (if your distro offers them) using whatever mechanism your distro (whichever that may be) uses for installing applications.

For me, part of rolling out a new CentOS workstation includes installing liberation-fonts and pointing firefox to their serif/sans-serif/mono fonts.
