2 linux at the same machine - Grub config
Noon
It may sound strange for some, but I actually have FC3 and recently installed FC4 at the same machine.
The problem is I can't get both to work together.
I skipped the GRUB config at FC4 install and configured the FC3 file manually, and here's how it is:
default=0
timeout=5
splashimage=(hd0,5)/boot/grub/splash.xpm.gz
hiddenmenu
title Fedora Core 3 (2.6.9-1.667)
root (hd0,4)
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.9-1.667 ro root=LABEL=/
initrd /boot/initrd-2.6.9-1.667.img
title Fedora (2.6.11-1.1369)
root (hd0,5)
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.11-1.1369_FC4 ro root=LABEL=/
initrd /boot/initrd-2.6.11-1.1369_FC4.img
title Windows 2000
rootnoverify (hd0,0)
chainloader +1
The problem is that FC4 simply won't boot.
What I get is my FC3 booting with the 2.6.11 kernel :P
FC3 and Windows are booting normally.
Beeing that the first time I'm installing 2 linuxes at the same machine, I'm 105% I've done something wrong.
