[GAIM-perl-Alicebot]

Greetings guru's and newbies,

I have GAIM setup and working well with MSN messenger. I have CPAN setup and updated all perl Bundles, Distributions and default Modules.

I just can't seem to get it right. I load the alice.pl script in GAIM but whenever someone IM's me, GAIM exits. The sender is supposed to be recieving a reply from alicebot.org. I figure something is ill-configured in my perl somewhere. Do I need a specific LWP::Protocol module to handle this?

If anyone has had any success in setting this up, please let me know what I may have missed.

Thanks,
