Wolfenstien won't start

At first it just would open a black screen with a sound error, but I did this,
I am running suse 9.2

echo "/usr/local/games/wolfenstein/wolf.x86 0 0 disable" >/proc/asound/card0/pcm0c/oss

and this,

echo "/usr/local/games/wolfenstein/wolf.x86 0 0 direct" >/proc/asound/card0/pcm0c/oss.

Now it won't even bring up the black screen and gives me this error,

Sys_Error: GLimp_Init() - could not load OpenGL subsystem.

What do I do, Thanks for the help anybody.

Hi!

Just installed ET in Archlinux yesterday.

Question: Did you install hardware acceleration drivers for your video card?
ET needs them to play.

I would advise you to install the oss emulation under alsa too.

Good luck!

So you need drivers for that card. Try to find them on the internet. Without them you cannot play ET.

Good Luck!

Marcel
