Wine Networking Problem

Please help! Wine is unable to utilize the network on my computer. For example, whenever I try to play Starcraft on LAN, I am told that it was "unable to initalize the network provider." Wine itself gives no console output when I try to connect using that method. However, when I try to play on Battle.net, this is outputted:
Quote:
fixme:ras:RasEnumConnectionsA (0x7988009c,0x7b8ef95c,0x7b8ef960),stub!
fixme:ras:RasEnumConnectionsA RAS support is not implemented! Configure program to use LAN connection/winsock instead!
So, I don't think that this is simply a problem with Starcraft; Wine is probably misconfigured or something. I am a newbie when it comes to Windows emulation in Linux, so I've got no clue as to how to get networking going. Any ideas?

Hello,

try to connect to your ISP before starting Starcraft.
Wine can't start a connection via modem.
Also configure Starcraft to connect via lan.

I'm actually using a ADSL connection, and I'm behind a router. Sorry for not mentioning that earlier. But how do I tell Starcraft to use a non-dialup connection? Does it try to use that by default?

Hello,

I don't know how to configure Starcraft. There should be either a program or a option on how to configure and enable the internetaccess for starcraft. From the error message Starcraft tries to determine the standard dial-up-connection, but this is not supprted in wine. Maybe you should consult the manual or some newsgroups.

Sorry
