Hey I dunno if anyone can help me but heres whats up. I copy the installer-setup.sh off the cd and open up terminal and run it. Well sometimes I can get to the 3rd,4th,5th or even back to the first cd before my cdroms wont unmount and when I click on them it shows ????? for all the file names. I know about the lazy unmount. It does it no matter what cd/dvd rom I try. Ive tried 12 different ones and they all do the same. Im running mandrake linux 10.1 with the kernel Nvidia-2.6.8.1-12 Ive also tried it with a fully up to date system (updated with Mandrake Update all packages) and it still does the same thing. Its kinda frustrating it installs without a hitch in windows.

Login as root.

Mount the DVD, not cd's.

Type:
export SETUP_CDROM=/dev/dvd(device of your DVD)

cd /mnt/dvd
sh installer.sh

Update after install:
http://www.liflg.org/?what=dl&catid=...age.update.run

Done.
