I just installed slack again and now i'm having some different problems installing ut2003. I mount the first disk, start the install, when i mount the second disk and click 'yes', it does some installing, then i get this horrible clicking sound coming from my cdrom and i get this error:

mount: /dev/cdrom already mounted or /mnt/cdrom busy
mount: according to mtab, /dev/hdc is already mounted on /mnt/cdrom
mount: /dev/fd0 is not a valid block device
mount: /dev/cdrom already mounted or /mnt/cdrom busy
mount: according to mtab, /dev/hdc is already mounted on /mnt/cdrom
mount: /dev/fd0 is not a valid block device

*the above section repeats untill i ctrl-c, and i then get this:

After that it asks me some questions, then continues theinstall followed by the first error repeating endlessly. Please help me. I want to play this game soooooooo bad!

is the ut cd definitely ok?
has it worked on another machine?

(i put a write protected floppy in when installing
this game to stop the endless fd0 seeks)
