Very much appreciated dev

You can grab it at http://www.rfactor.net/ and if you can get the mods running at www.rfactorcentral.com/ that is excellent aswell. A matter of fact I have brilliant idea regarding Rfactor and Cedega. I'll share it at next post

The goal is to get Rfactor on Cedega's game support list.

Basics

rFactor is a computer racing simulator designed with the ability to run any type of four-wheeled vehicle from street cars to open wheel cars of any era. rFactor aims to be the most accurate race simulator ever, providing advanced tyre modeling, complex aerodynamics and a 15 degrees of freedom physics engine.

rFactor is developed by Image Space Incorporated (ISI), which has been developing race simulators since the early 1990s for both commercial and military purposes. Their most recent title to use the complete engine was F1 Challenge '99-'02, released through EA Sports, although the rendering engine itself has been used for SimBin's GT Racing Series, comprising GTR - FIA GT Racing Game and GT Legends. (wikipedia)

Something for anyone

Rfactor's key to success is very moddable platform underneath. You can drive Formula 1 at Bahrain, watching the views while driving with Nascar at Fort Worth and when you feel jumping take a seat one of the ORR trucks and head to Cowiseum and when you are at your own car Volkswagen Beetle take a turn at Nordschleife but watch out those Meganes and V8 Supercars. When arriving at home you can play the Stinker Cup.

Mod community is very active aswell, almost daily something comes up.

Easy of use

Mods can be installed just copy/paste to Rfactor folder, few have installers which are easy to handle. Rfactor menus are straightforward.

As I see it Rfactor has plenty of potential to be in Cedega's support list, it brings together nascar fans, f1 fans and many other genres. True that example nascar thunder 2004 can beat Rfactor's mod but on the long run as it improves the table go upside down.

I've found out that Trymedia could be the problem and I believe Cedega don't support it at the moment.

No go on wine testing I haven't yet found an easy solution to that directx issue.
