Myth2 install on Mandrake 9.2

I am trying to install Myth 2 from Loki Games on Mandrake 9.2. I run the install program and no matter which directory I try to install in (and regardless of the size I choose, Full, Minimal,etc..), it informs me I don't have enough disk space. I only need 540 mb for a "full" install. I have 12gb free on one partition and 5.5gb free on the other. Anyone know how to fix this? Or know a way around it?

maybe your user name is full (?)
you probably have a restriction (size) on your user name, and even though the comp is pretty much free, you have almost filled up to the limit.
try using another user name (like gamer..)
or transfer all those big music files to another user's dir, then fiddle the permissions so you're usuall login can get at them.

Nope. Plenty of space. I have even logged in as root and tried to install with the same errors, regardless of the install drive or directory. The minimal install is only 10mb...
