Menu usability problem in Wolfenstein Enemy Territory

Hi,

I am having a display issue with RTCW Enemy Territory: menu options and buttons turn black whenever the mouse cursor passes over them. They should become highlighted instead. This is causing me a big problems navigating the game options since the background is pretty dark: black on black = black.

Does anyone know how to solve this issue?

I have installed 2.60b on Fedora 7. My nVidia drivers are up to date nvidia-x11-drv-100.14.23-1.fc7 and other games work fine (UT2004, UT2003, HL2).

Thanks!

If anyone has ET 2.60b installed, please let me know if yes or no you see that problem.

For those who don't have this problem, I'd like to know what output you get when starting the game in a console, especially the first 10 lines or so of the R_Init section. Here's what I got myself:

----- R_Init -----
...loading libGL.so.1: Initializing OpenGL display
...setting mode 6: 1024 768
Using XFree86-VidModeExtension Version 2.2
XF86DGA Mouse (Version 2.0) initialized
XFree86-VidModeExtension Activated at 1024x768
Using 4/4/4 Color bits, 24 depth, 0 stencil display.
GL_RENDERER: GeForce 7900 GS/PCI/SSE2

Thanks!

The problem 'fixed itself'. I have upgraded to Fedora 8 last night. This morning I ran a full yum update. I got a bonus: ET's menu now renders fine.
