joystick problem with gl-117 flight simulator

I try always to fix problems by myself, but for this (little) problem, LQ is really my "last chance".
I have SuSE 8.2 and gl-117 in bundle with him. And, of course, a joystick (2-axes and 2- buttons) that works on other games perfectly (even with epsxe).
All works when I play gl-117, except 2-nd joystick button that is not-working...
I checked .gl-117/conf.interface but everything seems to be ok, I tried even to switch some function (fire-cannon with fire-missile, etc.)
Anyone can solve this little but annoying enigma?
