Is there any way to use a G-sync compatible monitor alongside a non G-sync one in Linux?

I previously had a 2 monitor setup of 2 1920x1080p 60Hz monitors. I upgraded my main one to a 2560x1440p 165h G-sync compatible one as I have an RTX 3060 12GB. I tried turning on G-sync, but it would only work if I disabled my secondary monitor, so I asked for help on this and other forums. I got told that X11 only allows G-sync if all monitors have it, but Wayland doesn't so I should switch to a distro with Wayland, as I was on Linux Mint. After some research, I decided to switch to Fedora KDE. I tried to turn on G-sync, and then realised that is not possible due to the limited options the Nvidia X Server Settings has in Wayland. I researched a bit, and figured out that you have to turn on VRR in the display settings. So I turn it on, and nothing happens. I research a bit more and many 1-2 year old posts say that only VRR is supported on multiple monitors in Wayland and not G-sync due to Nvidia's bullshit. Have there been any developments about this, and if no, is there any way at all to turn G-sync on with a G-sync and non G-sync monitor at all or am I stuck with using 1 monitor while gaming until Nvidia gets its shit together or I get an AMD GPU?

Which version of Fedora + KDE Plasma Wayland were you using?

The model of monitor(s) may also come in to play as explained here:

Work in progress from what I read.

Explicit Sync a key improvement feature:
