Is there a simple way to install the most common requirements for games?

I was looking at a few games I would like to install on my system but the few that I wanted had the following requirements

Is there some sort of a package that I can install that has most of them?? Or do I just have to download them all one by one and install them and hope everything goes right!??

Python
Ogg Vorbis
SDL
SDL_mixer
SDL_image
perl
perl-SDL
Display: LibGGI or LibSDL or LibAllegro
Joystick: LibGII or LibSDL
Sound: LibMikMod or LibSDL_mixer

Sorry if it sounds Stupid... I am guessing probably the only way to do it is to install each one of the above one at a time... but just wanted to check.

It depends on what distrobution of linux you are using. Their are various package management tools that can download and install all these packages and their depencies for you.

Do you have any ideas where I can find one of these for Slackware 9.1?
