Question Guild Wars and Linux

This is simple enough for people who have been using linux and wine a long time I would think:

I'm trying to get Guild Wars to run on SuSe 9.3 Pro via Wine or whatever. Anyways, I keep running into Out of Memory issues on Windows, and I know that Linux doesn't have as much overhead as Windows does, plus I just like Linux better (still working on a total miagration to Linux. Tux just rules ).

I havn't tried to install/run GW on Linux in awhile, but I do remember that all I did when I installed it was to wine guild_wars.(setup/exe) to install it and got the icon to pop up, but it wouldn't run. Any help?

Also, if at all possible, I'd like to try to install Mechwarrior 4 Merc on there as well, but if that isn't possible, then oh well.

Guild Wars is Direct3D, so I don't think the version of WINE bundled with SuSE Pro will be sufficient (works fine with OpenGL though.) You'll probably need to get the commercial (by subscription) Cedega version:

Don't expect, though, great performance with Cedega. Runs quite badly on my Gentoo box, but I've seen people who play with it more or less flawlessly.

I've gotten Guild Wars running much faster than it was running on windows(with a bloated registry...). My problem is, the login/register screens are the only thing that works. The player select screen is black, but throws no errors in the cmd line. Is there any hope for me? My graphics card isn't support(nor is it great, NVIDIA TNT2)
My question is, why would it be a black screen and how do I fix it? I'm on the latest Cedega CVS and even dl'd their swift dll. Still nothing.

Guild Wars on Mandriva

I'm trying to run Guild wars on Mandriva 2006 with Cedega 511 and the install runs smoothly but when I go to execute it, a window pops up and says:

"Guild Wars has detected your system's video card is an unsupported hardware device. Would you like to continue (y/n)"

When click yes it tries to load and the mouse changes to that of the game. then it just ends. it closes without any error or anything..

So, I'm assuming its something to so with my video card. I know linux tends to hate ATI. I installed the drivers (I think, im still relatively new to linux) and Guild Wars runs fine when i log into windows. Heres my system specs
(to the best of my knowledge)

AMD Athlon XP 1.9ghz
1024mb DDR RAM
ATI Radeon 9200 256mb Video Card (i think that's correct)

if you need any other info then just ask. I'd really like to think I didn't spend the money on an account to get Cedega for nothing.

I receive the exact same error when trying to launch Guild Wars on Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy Eft with Cedega 6.0.2...

"Guild Wars has detected your system's video card is an unsupported hardware device. Would you like to continue (y/n)"

My PC specs:

AMD Athlon XP 2400+ (@2000 MHz)
RAM: 512 DDR
VD: GeForce 6600 (256/128)

I've installed the video drivers with Envy and no errors there... I've passed all the tests within Cedega... Etc.

Please help me resolve this problem (if there is any resolvation)...

LE: I have some good news for you, guys ! I've managed to fully emulate Guild Wars through Wine (no modifications made)... Here are some proofs:
