Fallout 2 problem

Hi i installed fallout 2 on wine 1.2 today it installed fine but whenever i get it to play it comes come witht the please stand by screen goes blank and exits then im left with my desktop again like nothing happened ? any solutions or ideas ?

only to play MS only games on MS

also the game is from 1998 so do you have windows 98 .dll's installed ?

Maybe you should have a look here.
You can also run Fallout2 using PlayOnLinux.

Thanks all i have come to conclusion that it wasn't the software but infact the disc has a fault but will use the software for other games thanks all.
